Online services like Marvel Unlimited

Post by finfangfoomed »

I recently bought a cheap little 8" tablet to read books and comics on. My big plan is to go to my local public library and get it all setup for checking stuff out digitally, but the weather has been poopy and I don't want to go out.

In the meantime, I have subscribed to Marvel Unlimited. It's been pretty cool to go back and catch up on some of the stuff I've missed over the last decade or two. I'm currently reading the kick off to the X-Men Krakoa era House of X/Powers of X. It's pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how this changes the status quo for the X-Men universe. It's very dreamy and kind of weird, definitely up my alley.

I'm also looking forward to going back and reading all of Age of Apocalypse in order. I'm pretty sure I have the entire event in loose print comics, but it's nice to just have it all in one place and in reading order.

Anyone else using Marvel Unlimited or services like it? I'm eventually going to get DC's version. I would also like to find a place to get manga either as a service or cheap. Anyone got recommendations?
